PORT PHILLIP SAILED. ' Bannatyne and Co. have been advised by cable that the C. and D. liner Port Phillip sailed from New York on last Wednesday for Wellington, Melbourne, and Adelaide via Panama Canal. She is due at Wellington about July 31st.

MARAMA LEFT SYDNEY. The Union Co.'s liner Marama left 'Sydney at noon, on Saturday for Wellington, Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco* v©ss©l lias *8 first, 10 second, and 15 third-class passengers, and 40 tons of cargo to land at Wellington. The cargo from Sydney tor forward ports amounts to 733 tons. Ihe Marama is due here to-morrow morning, and is to resume her voyage on Thursday afternoon. ■ ALBERT MEYER ARRIVED. The three-masted British schooner Albert Meyer, 83 days out from' New Westminster, British Columbia, signalled for a pilot off the Wellington Heads yesterday afternoon.'' "The steamer Admiral took Pilot SpehfcA'out, and be boarded the sailer off Penoarrow Head. The vessel sailed up to the stream and dropped anchor after darkness had set in. EBMUERA FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s liner Remuera arrived in the stream at Wei-, lington at 11.40 o’clock yesterday morning from London via ports. Pratique was granted, and the vessel berthed at the King's wharf at 2 p.m. The Remuera sailed from London on May -Ith. and after calling at Ply month on the following day for passengers and mails, resumed her voyage.
