SHIPS SUNK AT GOLDEN HORN
Tho American Note has made a deep impression in Germany. As will lie scon from tho messages published this morning, the Hun newspapers are bitterly quarrelling on the American question.
The Allies .continue to make progress in' tho western battlefields. The fight north of Arrn.s has been extremely intense. Fighting on tho eastern front continues with fierceness, but without decisive results. Reuter’s Petrograd correspondent foreshadows an immense and decisive, battle at Grodek. Tho Italians have been successful in encounters along tho whole front. A remarkable feat has been performed by a British submarine, which reached Constantinople,, sunk three ships at tho Golden Horn, and escaped undamaged.
