SALE OF BUILDING SITES

Messrs Harcourt and Co. report there was a fair attendance at their auction rooms yesterday afternoon, when several sections” in Eastbourne and Seatoun were offered for sale by auction. A block of land with 110 ft frontage to Black road and adjoining the residence of \V. G. Mantell, Esq., attracted spirited bidding, and was subsequently sold to Mr W. S. Wheeler at £325. Section 4.5, Orua road, has been sold to Mrs Canning, at £2 10s per foot (£100), and section 9, County road, at £2 10s per foot (£S7 10s). The auctioneers state they are offering the balance of the unsold sections ' for private sale at the upset prices.
