CROWN LANDS
AREAS FOR SELECTION,
Daring the present month 133,725 acres of land are being thrown open for selection in the Dominion. The sections are available in the following districts: — Auckland.' —One section of 371 acres in the Hunua Pariah; eight sections of second-class land, with right of purchase, or for renewable lease, in* the Tutamoe Survey Distriot, ranging from 214 acres to 651 acres (total area 8034 acres); one section of firstclass land dn Taiitari Village of one acre; forty-six sections in the various parishes, ranging from I rood to 57 acres (total area 164 a. Ir. 13p.)Hawke’s Bay.—Fifteen sections of .second-class land in the Ruataniwha Survey District, varying in area from 329 acres to 600 acres (total area 6211 acres). Taranaki. —-Eight lots of first-class land in the Pavitutu District, ranging in area from 1 rood to 2 acres lr. Bp. (total area 9a. Or. 19p); one seotion in the Education Reserves of an area of 2 roods.
Wellington.—Thirteen sections of first-class land in the Otahoua District, varying from 8 acres to 581 acres (total area 4358 acres); four sections of second-class land in the Walnui-om District, ranging from 643 acres to 1850 acres (total area 5033 acres); one section of national endowment land, in the town of Horopito, with an area of 2 roods; one section of first-class land in the Belmont District of 6 acres.
Marlborough.—Forty-three sections of pastoral land, in the Mount Olympus and Spray districts, varying from 86. V acres to 8930 acres (total area of 79.191} acres); one section in the Greanhurn district of 12,121 acres of pastoral land, for renewable lease; ten sections in the Greenburn distriot, ranging from 156 acres to 1460 acres (total area 5419 acres), on "renewable lease, .
Canterbury.—Eleven sections of first-class land in the Waimat-e district, varying from 27 acres to 339 acres (total area- 2134 acres); eight sections of second-class land in the Wailhao district, ranging from 355 acres to 593 acre® (total area 3823 acres); twelve sections of town land in Waiau, of 1 rood each; two sections of first-class land in the Lyndon Sujrvey District, of 19 acres and 15 acres respectively. Otago.—rOne pastoral run of 254 acres.
Southland. —Eight sections of suburban land in the town of Cl if den, ranging from 1 acre to la. 3r. 24p. (total area 9j acres); eight sections of pastoral land in the Tuturau district, varying from 2SO acres to 702 acres (total area 4119 acres); six sections in ' the Bbkonni district, ranging from 196 acres to 6031 acres (total area 12,906 acres); one section of second-class national endowment land, in the Jacob’s River District, of 37 acres.
