SUVA THREATENED
HURRICANE 250 MILES AWAY. STEAMERS BUFFETED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SUVA, March 13. A wireless message reports that the steamer Ventura is in a hurricane 250 miles distant. The Taviuni advises a heavy blow, with lOin of rain last night. No damage.has yet been reported. Suva is threatened, and alarm signals have been hoisted. The glass is steadily falling. SAMOA PROBABLY AFFECTED. SUVA, March 13. The hurricane passed south-west of Suva. The Lan group and * Samoa will be probably affected. There is nothing further from the Ventura.
