AUCKLAND EXHIBITION
SEASON EXTENDED Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 12. The Executive of the Exhibition has decided to extend the season of the Exhibition till April 18th after March 28th. However, it will be opened at 2 p.m. each day, except Saturdays and holidays. On these days it will be opened as at present, 10 a.m. The executive decided some little time ago that the Exhibition should be closed on March 28th, but since then there has been almost an avalanche of requests that Easter should be included. THE BEST PROVINCIAL COURT. The North Auckland district court in the Exhibition has been awarded the first prize of £IOO, given for the best provincial court. There are only two in the Exhibition, representative of North Auckland and of Southland, and there has never been any doubt in the public mind as to which would secure the award. The Southland court has been very severely handicapped. It is planned on a large and expensive scale and it has not realised the hopes of those who designed it, for much of the material was delayed many weeks by the late strike until it was' impossible to complete it and make it'fully representative.
