W. P. Schreiner appealed to the Government to admit that the deportations were an error and to substitiilo a trial. He declared that the recent disturbances were the fault of the Government and Parliament. The deportations would encourage Syndicalism. He predicted that the exodus would cause the death of white skilled labour. ;
