CONFERENCE FOR CLOSER UNION. THE CHURCH AND THE CHILD. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright iiONDON, March 11. The Free Churches Council sitting at Norwich passed a resolution favouring a World Conference to secure closer union of the Free Churches; also insisting on a more rigid Sunday observance, and condemning the War Office’s encouragement of Sunday rifle practice.
