Fine crossbreds were extremely fil Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have been advised by cable from London, nnder date of the 11th inet., as follows: ‘Wool sales continue active and competition brisk Merino and fine crossbred wools rather higher. Crossbred wools, medium and coarse quality, change if any is in buyers? favour; 64’s tops now cost 31d. w The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from London, under date March 11th, 1914:—“Wheat—Wo have sold an Australian parcel at 36s 3d ci.f. LINSEED OIL AND TUEPENTINE. Linseed oil, £25 10s. Turpentine, 82s lid. PEARL SHELLS. At the pearl shell sales 896 cases of Queensland were offered and 500 sold; West Australian, 184 S offered and 1093 sold; Aroe. 556 offered and 229 sold. The average prices were: Queensland, chicken light and medium, 2525; medium, 303 s 6d- bold, 853 s 6d; grubby, 173 s 6d.
