METALJA INCIDENT
A SETTLEMENT REACHED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright CETTINJE, March 11. The Metalja incident has been settled; both sides have withdrawn their troops. [An Austrian battalion crossed the frontier at Metalja, and fired several volleys at the Montenegrin barracks, killing one and wounding four. They then occupied Sienokes. The Austrians stated that the Montenegrins tried to stop the battalion in Bosnian territory. Montenegro protested to Austria and the Powers.]
