GROCERS’ PICNIC
The annual sports meeting of the Wellington Grocers’ Union, took place at Newtown Park yesterday afternoon, when the different events contested resulted in close finishes. The Hunkydory cup was won by H. Ailgar, who also won the Daphne cup. J. P. Dowling and JGrinrod tied for the Maple • Leaf cup. The officials the sports were:— Messrs J. McKenzie (president), J.
