FINANCIAL RESULT AROUSES RESENTMENT. Press Association. AUCKLAND, “arch 11. The. balance-sheet of the New Zealand cricket team’s recent Australian tour was received and severely criticised by the Auckland Oncket Association, Vhich, out of a guarantee of -£-5, receives back only £6 9s lOd. Payment ot the players was particularly resented, and the New Zealand Council was severely criticised for its action m not notifying the centres of this fact .before the guarantees were forthcoming. It was resolved to write to the council criticising the balance-sheet as a whole, and askini for an explanation of cerchairman said that if the _ four principal centres were not more fairly treated by the central authority they should consider the advisability of seceding from that body.
