Several pheasants and mallard ducks have been forwarded from the Parnparaumu gam® farm for liberation in suitable localities of the Horowhenua county. A series of gas cookery demonstrations by Miss Rennie, of the Wellington Technical School, will bo given at .the Wellington Gas Company’s hall, 64, Courtenay place at 3 p.m. to-day.
