SHAKESPEARE MEMORIAL
THEATRE FOR, MELBOURNE. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright MELBOURNE, March 11. A meeting of citizens, at which Lord Denman (Goverftor-General) and Sir A. Stanley (Governor of Victoria) were present, has been held to initiate a movement to erect a Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Melbourne to mark the tercentenary of his "death in 1916, at an estimated, post of £30,000.
