INVESTIGATION OF BOWSKILL CASE. By Telearraph—Preas Association—-Copyrlgfc* LONDON, March 10. The British Acting-Consul at Boma proceeds to San Salvador to conduct an independent investigation into the Bowskill case. [A recent message from Lisbon stated that, according to Portuguese despatches, the natives at San Salvador had revolted against payment of the taxes, and entrenched themselves in the mission buildings against the missionaries’ will. Mr Bowskill's ■ alleged arrest was merely an invitation to remain at the disposal of the authorities pending the'Governor’s arrival. The missionaries deny that the rebels entered .the premises.]
