ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW. The third competitive flower show ia connection with the Clyde quay public school was helcr iu tho Century Hall on Wednesday, and was opened by Dr A. K. Newman, M.P. The following is the list of awards: Special' Prizes.—Garden plot: Olivo Clark 1, F. Skinner 2, David Stuart 3, Louis Gerrad 4. Table decorations: Standards L. to III.: Kathleen Gillings, 1; Standards IV. to VX., Maida Glover 1, Gytha Hueston 2, Zeta Pasche 3. Best posy of flowers: Standards I. to 111., Eric Godber, 1; Standards IV. to VI., Zeta Pasche. Greatest number of points in the show: Olivo,Clark. Best specimen plant: P. Canavan. A tennis racket, presented by Mr John Mills, fell to Donald Fraser for being the best player of singles in the school., A guinea was also presented by Dr Newman, M.P., for prizes.
