CLOCK-TOWER ORATOR

P. 0. WEBB’S FINE PAID. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 3. Despite P. C. Webb’s request to the contrary, and the efforts of his friends to prevent it, his fine was paid at Lyttelton to-day, and Webb was released from the gaol at midday. It is not known who paid the fine. He was arrested yesterday for having failed to pay tho fine imposed on him for having, with others, obstructed the traffic at tho Clock Tower.
