PONSONBY RESIDENT KILLED. . FBES3 ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, April 5. A fatal accident occurred last evening at Epsom, resulting in the death of William Jones, a carter, of Ponecnby. Jones was driving . a cart when a tramcar collided with it from the rear, throw-, ing Jones out. He was picked up unconscious, having sustained several severe fractures of the skull. Ho died in: the hospital to-day. Deceased' was a married map, aged forty-four years.
