At the Nera-Taviuni collision inquiry tho captain of tho Taviuni stated in his evidence that ho could easily have passed the Nera had tho latter’s towline not carried away. Other evidence pointed to tEe fact that the Nora’s engines failed to obey tho telegraph. THE VESSEL RAISED. , (Received October. 11, 1.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 10. Tho Taviuni has been raised and has proceeded to the dock.
