MUNIFICENT GIFT TO STATE
PEIVATE CITIZEN OFFERS VALUABLE COAL EIGHTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SYDNEY, November 22. The Government has received an offer of coal-rights over 3700 acres of private land, estimated to contain 40,000.000 tons of marketable coal, as a free gift. The name of the gentleman making the offer has not been disclosed.
