TBorn in Cornwall sixty-eight yeara ago, Mr Annear arrived in Queensland at the age of twenty-one. He was engaged in railway work for some years, and was one of the builders of the Maryborough-Gympie line. He entered Parliament in 1884. and for eighteen years sat for Maryborough in the Assembly, and since 1902 has sat in the Legislative Council.
