A meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union was held last evening, when final arrangements were made for the match between the New Zealand team for Australia and the Wellington representatives, on the Athletic Park on Friday nest. Mr J. Francis,'-of Wellington, who controlled the tit. Jajnes-Poueks match on Saturday last, was appointed reforee. MAORI TEAM LEAVES FOE SYDNEY. VaZES ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, May 30. The New Zealand Maori team left Auckland for Sydney by tho steamer Victoria this evening. The party, numbering 28. went under the management of Mr W. 1. Varata. ASSOCIATION REPRESENTATIVES.
