BOWRON BEOS.’ APPEAL
' FfiJCSS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, May 27. .In tho Supreme Court this morning, Mr Russell, for Bowron Bros. • and Smith, defendants in the action. Commissioner *of Taxes v. Bowron Bros., said that his clients had to h© ready for the hearing of the appeal against the decision of •Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., at the first available sitting of the court after fifteen days. Mr Stringer, K.C., who had appeared for the Commissioner, was in Wellington, however,' and the .hearing could not be taken at present. Mr Justice Sim said the matter could be mentioned again on Juno 17th.
