PRESS ASSOCIATION; ' . •' : CHETSTCHURCH, April 22. Mr Bailey, S.M., gave judgment today in. the case in which a hotelkeeper was charged with refusing accommodation. The defence was that' the applicant for accommodation, ’-was suspected of being a thief. The magistrate held that tho hotelkeeper had no l ight to discriminate on tho ground of mere suspicion, and inflicted' a penalty - of 10s and costs.
