ACCIDENT.
CONCUSSION OF THE BRAIN. James Mason, married, aged 56 years, a wharf labourer, residing at No. 7G Nixon street, met. with a serious accident yesterday whilst discharging cargo from the steamer Kaitangata i at tie Railway wharf. He over-baLanoed himaeflf through bedng struck by a violent gust of wind during the storm, and fell a distance of about nine feet from the ship on to the railway line. Dr Henry attended to the injured man, who was conveyed to his home. Mason is suffering from alight concussion of the brain.
