A FRENCH SCHEME CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THREE SOURCES. MOULDED ON GERMAN LINES. By Telegraph—Press Association—CopyrightPARIS, February 15. The Senate having twice rejected the Chamber of Deputies’ Old Ago Pensions Bill because it was crude and ill-considered, prepared a new measure, which was unanimously adopted. The Bill is moulded upon German lines, workmen and employers contributing equal portions to the pensions, the State adding further contributions. The age-limit is sixty-five years. Men are to contribute nine francs a year, women six francs, and boys four and a half. IMPORTANT TEST CASE LONDON, February 15. The King’s Bench at Dublin beard a test case affecting old age pensions totalling £250,000. The Court ujdield discontinuance of, the pension, on the ground that the pensioner was under seventy years of age.
