Critics, severely comment upon the speech delivered at Toronto by Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Canadian Premier, on the sth inst., in the course of which he said: "We are under the suzerainty of the King of Engla-nd, and bow the knee to him; but tho King has no more rights over us than are allowed by the Canadian Parliament. This is every true, loyal Britisher's view of the relations with the throne."
