YOUTHFUL BURGLARS
THIRTEEN OFFENCES ADMITTED. C'O.ilillTTED TO STTPREME COERT FOB SENTENCE. Two lads namod Maurice Edward Pointon and Joseph Haughey were charged before Messrs H. F. Davis and 11. V. Baker, j.P.'s, ■ at tho Magistrate's .Court yesterday, with haling commiitod sorao thirteen offences in the way of breaking and entering, and the theft of goods to , fcho value of about £33.
Mr Wilford, who appeared for the accused, said they were only about fifteen years of,age and had been led astray by the perusal of "penny dreadful stories. He.added that the boys WK %iT plead guilty, which they did:- *" Jl? y ' We,T& consequently committed to the Supreme Court; for sentence.
