PALMERSTON WEDDING
HABMAN-PASCAL. BPECJiL TO THE ■"TIMES." PALMEESTON, Januar- .26. At. St. Patrick's, palmerston North, this afternoon, Mr V. E. Harrnan, of Palinerston North, fifth son of the late Mr E, J. S. Harrnan, of Christchure-h, was married to Madge, eldest daughter of Mr J. B. Pascal, of Te Awe Awe street. The Eev. Father Connolly officiated. The bride, who was attended by her sisters Noelle and Flora snd her cousin Alison, Matheson, was dressed in a soft clinging' gown of white Paris orepe, the bodice being trimmed with white lace and single pearls. She woro a plain tulle evil and a wreath of orango blossoms, . and carried a bouquet of whito flowers made by Miss Murray, of "Wellington, and also woro a pearl pendant, given by father, and a ■ pearl pendant, given by the. bridegroom. The three maids were arrayed in.white embroidered muslin princess, frocks touched with veiled oraiige. The eldest also wore a large hat, trimmed with an Alsatian . bow of white net and orange' velvet, and carried directoire staves and a bouquet of yellow roses. The other two woro quaint little bonnets and Mother Hubbard shoes to correspond. Mrs McLennan, grandmother of tho bride, wore black silk, relieved by a handsome old lace collar; Miss McLennan was attired in prune taffeta; Miss Elsie McLennan in white, and Mrs J. R. -McLennan.' in white muslin trimmed with lace. Mr G. M. Laing-Meason acted -as best man. The honeymoon is being -spent in the South Island.
