Mr Asquith, despite heavy snow, motored through to East Fife, which place he represents in the House, and paid brief visits to the various polling stations to thank his supporters. Suffragettes have made an active appeal to voters to reject Mr Asquith. VOTERS STUCK BP BY SNOW. LONDON, January 26. Heavy snowstorms are being experienced ’n Scotland. Many East Lothian voters were unable to poll. One party in vehicles were stuck in a snowdrift.
