THIRTEEN CASES OF BREAKING AND ENTERING
I-OINTON AND HAUGHEY AGAIN BEFORE THE COURT. REMANDED UNTIL TO-MORROW. Maurice Edward Pointon 'and Joseph Patrick Hnughey, the two eighteen-ycar-old lads who were arrested at Happy Valley a few 'days ago by Dotoctivo Cassells and Constable Pearce, on thirteen charges of having broken into houses and business premises in Wellington and suburbs, were again brought before £He Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Mr p. w. Jackson, who appeared 1 on bchair - of the accused, applied for a further remand until to-morrow. Mr W. ,G. Riddell, S.M., who presided, granted the _ remand. Pointon was allowed bail in his own bond.of £SO, with on©'surety of £SO.
