StTMMARY AND FORECAST. The weather has been mild and humid over the North Island and improved in the South, but has been misty and show T ery in several parts. The winds have moderated in the South, and are now light and variable everywhere. The present indications are for a change with a fall in the barometer aDd freshening northerlies everywhere. Conditions are somewhat more ominous in the North, but a westerly area of low pressure is due to pass in the South on Monday.
