StTMMARY AND FORECAST. The weather has been mild and humid over the North Island and improved in the South, but has been misty and show T ery in several parts. The winds have moderated in the South, and are now light and variable everywhere. The present indications are for a change with a fall in the barometer aDd freshening northerlies everywhere. Conditions are somewhat more ominous in the North, but a westerly area of low pressure is due to pass in the South on Monday. Warm and humid weather probable in the North, and mild and changeable weather in the South. D. C. BATES.
