TWO SUCCESSFUL TRIALS UNDER PERFECT CONTROL. MAKES SECOND FLIGHT WITH THREE PASSENGERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received September 11, 10.24 p.m.) LONDON, September 11. Colonel Tcmpler’s airship made a successful preliminary ascent at Faruborough Common, and circled in the air under perfect control. A premature descent, however, was rendered necessary owing to an accident to a driving-belt. Colonel Capper, Superintendent of the balloon section of the Royal Engineers,' expressed the greatest satisfaction at the manner in which the balloon answered her rudder with and against the wind. • A second and thoroughly successful ascent was made later, with three occupants.
