A Tadmoro (Nelson) farmer, Mr William Christian, has purchased eleven Romr.oy rams from the flocks of Messrs Pinrco (Colyton) and Levelt (Kiwitea). MacKwan and Co., state that thev have as many orders now for machines to bo installed next season as were sold during tho whole of last season, and that the installations to bo put in next soring will probably bo four times a? many as wore set up last year. The best price was 15£gns for a two-shear ram bred by It. Grieve and purchased by Mrs P. Thomson; a throe-year ram bred by H. Caisucll realised lljgns. Other rams made from ogns to Signs. Flock Border rams from Signs to 7gns. There was a short yarding of flock Romneys, »nd good prices were obtained. Tho best price was Signs. Others made from 33gns to Sgns. There were no Lincolns forward, and English Leicester and Shropshircs met with a very poor demand-
