GALE AT AUCKLAND
TteESS ‘ ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Apjll 8. A strong southerly gale hue prevailed during tho past day or two. The scow Mahiano was driven ashore at Chamberlain's Island, in the Hauraki Gulf, and the scow Vindix was dismasted in Cabbage Bay. Several yachts had lively experience© during the gale, but no accidents are recorded. The weather has now cleared.
