HIGH PRICES MAY CONTINUE. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. LONDON, April 7. Copper is quoted at £96 os on tho spot; three months, £97. Vivian Young and Bond report that tho position of copper is apparently duo to tho assumption that trade generally has reached its high-water mark, and that there will ho later a gradual overtaking of requirements by production, and a consequent lowering of values. But tho surplus will not bo largo for a long time, while in tho meantime stocks are small, and as the reversal of tho position must bo gradual, speculators for a fall run heavy risks.
