Tho following officers were elected for tho ensuing season:—President, Mr AI. C. O’Connell; Vice-Presidents, Alessrs F. Hill, 0. H. Smith, F. O. Turner, W. Perry, E. Welch, J. King. Tho balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £l2 cash and assets to the value of £SO. Still they come. By tho Monawai that arrived from Sydney on Wednesday last, Air T. Byron, of Petone, had consigned to him a black and white dog (Orange Lad) by Blythxwood—Bewitched, from tho well-known Sydney owner, Air Greg Keighey. Air Byron, who had commissioned some one in Wellington to unslvp the dog for him informs me

that whilst the dog was being taken up the town, by some means or other ho escaped, and up to the time of writing (Monday) ho. had no trace of the dog's whereabouts. A piece of bad luck this, as Mr Byron intended giving him a run in tho Easter Stakes at tho AY. and S. C.CVs meeting on April 2.
