MASTERTON RACING CLUB. \ The autumn meting of the Masterton Racing Clnb will bo hold to-morrow and on Friday. Tho following horses are suggested as likely to run forward in their engagements:—Hack Hurdles (12.30 p.m.), Great Scott and Pukana; Maiden Hack Race (1.10 p.m.), Lissa; Masterton Hack Handicap (2.10 p.m.), Platypus and Shrapnel Shell; St. Patrick's Handicap (2.50 p.m.), Van and Rebel; Telegraph Hack Handicap (3.30 p.m.), Pure Silver and Kereru; Ladies' Bracelet (4.10 p.m.), Greytown; March Handicap, Ringlet; Dash Handicap, Diplomat and Spun Gold. DEATH OF CASTOR. PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND,-March 11.' The stallion Castor, owned by Mr Morrin, of Wellington Park, was destroyed to-day. The horse had become paralysed, and one of his fetlocks was broken. The horso was insured with the International Horse Agency. SYDNEY, March 11. Revenue and Aurous have been scratched for all engagements. MELBOURNE, March 11. At a salo of racing stock, Kaimate was bought by Mr S. Miller for 200 guineas.
