LASCARS ON THE OPHIR.
SYDNEY, February 13,
Tho Orient liner Ophir, which was used as a Royal yacht during last year’s tour of tho world by the Prince and Princess of Wales, has returned to Sydney in her former capacity of a mail steamer. With tho exception of the leather upholstery in tho saloon smok-ing-room all the furnishings for the Royal tour have disappeared. The employment of Lascar firemen and stokers on board the Omrah having proved satisfactory, a similar change has also been made on the Ophir.
