Stringfellow beat the Levels estate. The Levels estate won one special prize for freezers, and Elworthy and J. Headley that for best fat lambs. INVERCARGILL, November 13. The Rev. J. A. Luxford, Wesleyan minister, has accepted nomination as honorary chaplain of the Second Battalion of Otago Mounted Rides, which carries tho rank of captain. This is tho first nomination of a Wesleyan minister to such a rank in New Zealand.
