The Masterton Boro c gh Council has decided to insure all of its employees with the Government as a; protection against the Workers' Compen aation for Accidents Act.
A lad named Cecil ' Dixon was last night, presented by the Ma jyor with a letter of commendation from the Humane Society for pluckily saving a child from drowning. At a representativ c meeting of farmers this afternoon it wi is decided to form a branch of the N tw Zealand Farmers' Union, ,
