PRESS ASSOCIATION. - AUCKLAND, July 10. - Early this morning a ure wa s discovered in the third story of Eobt. Furness and Co/s jam factory -in Fort street. The brigade was quickly on the scene, and succeeded, in confining the fire to the story in which it "started. Goods on the other floors were damaged by water, and the roof was . destroyed. The damage amounts to over ,£2OOO. Insurances— Stock and plant, ■‘Alliance 412150, Phos. nix 41500, Manchester 4250, Norwich Union £SOO. Sun 4500; building. New Zealand 41000. , 1
