DESPATCHES FOR SAMOA.

PJIESS association. AUCKLAND, Monday. The Tutanekai, after taking in stores and coal, sailed for Samoa. Major Mair, Acting-British Consul at Samoa, is a, passenger by the Tutanekai, and is the bearer of despatches froin the Imperial Government to the British Commissioner at Apia. The despatches were telegraphed from Wellington by the governor yesterday morning. The Tutanekai is expected to return to Auckland in three weeks’ time.
