POISONED BY DYNAMITE FUMES.

Four men who wore sinking a shaft at the 390 ft level of the Mount Charlotte Mine, in Kalgoo.-lio, dropped a burning candle into a box containing cartridges of dynamite. One of them snatched the candle out before it reached the detonators, and so prevented an explosion, and they all rushed for the ladder, pursued by the fumes of the burning dynamite. They reached the top, but two were so overcome by the effects of the fumes that they died. The others are in a serious condition.
