More interest than usual is being taken in the heat for the Senior Shield between tho Poneke and Petono teams, which is to bo played at Petono this afternoon. Both teams are now level for the Shield, and the winner to-day will thus load in the first round. Both clubs will ho represented by strong teams, tho strongest they have yet put into the field, and tho game should bo full of interest. Tho other Senior match—Melrose v. Wellington—i4 to be played at Newtown Park,
