Acceptances close at New Zealander Hotel on MONDAY, 21st May, at 10.30 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. All ponies (except those holding certificates) to bo measured before starting. 2. Previous peformancos of horses to bo fiven at time of nomination, also colours of ;he riders. 3. All races to bo run under the rules of the Wellington Trotting Association. 4. Five per cent, will be deducted from the jross amount of all stakes. 5. All horses that have never started will 3© handicapped on the same mark. 6. All horses must bo ridden and driven iut. If distanced by first horse, second and ;hird money will bo paid to the winner. 7. All protests to be acoompauied by a fee if 2 sovs, to bo forfeited if the protest is conjidered frivolous. 8. All disputes and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of :ho Stewards present, whose decision shall bo inal, and shall not bo questioned in any 3ourt of law.
