A TIDAL WAVE, A BLIZZARD, AND A PRAIRIE FIRE,

Buenos Ayres, April 9,

The rising in Catamarca, a province of the Argentine Republic in the extreme west, is becoming serious. (Received April 11. 1.15 a.m.) New York, April 10. A tidal wave in Chicago river tore 30 vessels from their moorings. The district was also visited by a blizzard, which destroyed two monster hotels, and levelled the panorama buildings to the ground. An awful prairie fire is raging in the vicinity of Omaha city, Nebraska. Fifteen miles of country have already been devastated, and the lire is nowtravelling at the rate of 40 miles an hour. Several villages are in its path, and the inhabitants are in a state of terror, despairing of being able to save their homes.
