.—. (PRESS ASSOCIATION*.) Masterton, July 1. Mr William H. Beotham was charged in the Resident Magistrate's Court to-day, on the information of Hr W. H. Hosking, with presiding at a certain meeting of the Masterton Road Board, and taking part in a discussion on the question of taking the road through the Te Weraiti block, a matter in which he (Beetham) had direct or indirect interest, apart from that in common with the public. The case is proceeding, and likely to occupy some time.
