’ — : ♦- — : (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, April 16. ■ -The first annual meeting of the Canter* bury Grocers' Association was held to-day. Mr W. H. Gilchrist was re-elected President. The report stated that the Association is in a very flourishing condition, with 87 members. It was decided to close the members’ places of business at 6 p.m. bn Saturdays. The Association includes the grocers of Christchurch, Lyttelton, Rangio.'a, Ashburton, Akaroa, and other country districts.
