♦ (per press association.) Dunedin, April 16. The judging of the agricultural seeds was accomplished to day. The competition was very limited, and Niramo and Blair swept the board, the only other prize-taker being Murray, Roberts and Co,, of Napier, first and second for ryegrass; P. Pulton, Napier, second for cocksfoot; John Allan, Taieri, second for timothy grass seed, first for linseed; F. Pulton, Napier, second for potatoes and two first for onions. Nimmo and Blair secured twenty-three awards, nearly all firsts. . > In order to allow those unable to afford it to visit the Exhibition invitations have been sent to the Charitable Aid Board and Benevolent Trustees to issue tickets. Those who attend will be entertained, by Mr Roberts, the President. Among the jurors’ awards announced are the following :—Fireclays—Onehunga Ironworks Company, 1 ; Grey Valley Company, 1 (exhibit from Brunner mine); Whiteolitfs Colliery, South Malvern, 1; Kamo Colliery, 2. Pipeclay—Homebuah Colliery, South Malvern, 1; C. W. Fisher and Co., Christchurch, I and 2; Whitecliffs Colliery, 2 ; Nelson Local Com" mittee, 2 (for clay from Takaka). Kaolin— Kelson Committee, 1 (for kaolin from Takaka); Dr Hanan, Invercargill (for kaolin from Stewart Island). Sea elephant oil— J. Hatch, Invercargill, 1. Collection of household remedies—W. Robertson, Woodlands, 1. Baking and custard powder—• J. Newberry, Nelson, 2. ludianite—J. Kendernine, Auckland, 2. Glue'and size— E. Mitchelaoa and Co., Auckland, 1. Paper bags, made by hand—John Drapper, Chrfstchuroh, 2. Honey, in comb, tins, and bottles, and beeswax—G. Stevenson, Gisborne, I. Osiers—G. Hodges and Son, Timaru, 1. Department of ethnology— Pirst awards (specially commended), Captain Gilbert Mair (Hawkos Bay), A. Hamilton (Napier;, Dr Hocken (Dunedin). First class awards Auckland Mifteum, general collection; S.
